P'jelasi Nitap. Welcome Friends.
I am a Mi'gmaw woman who has
been in business since 1996. My store is located in my community Pabineau
First Nation. I am a mother, a business owner, a wife, and an active member
in my community. The first picture is of my late father John "Flying Eagle" who
was chief at the time of this picture. The second picture is of my son at
the age of six, taken at Pabineau Falls. The center picture is myself taken
during the summer at one of the local Pow Wow's. My daughter is the next
picture, she was eight at the time of the picture. This was taken at
Pabineau Falls. The final picture is of my husband and myself. This
is my family.
Our Mission
I strive to be an example to the next generation in my community in showing
that one can achieve any goal they desire through hard work and ambition by
living a clean and sober life and being true to ones self.
Company Profile
My business first opened in 1996 as a convenience store then in 1999 I became
an authorized Tandy Leather Supplier and finally in 2000 I opened the computer
store. The business keeps growing and expanding in the variety of products
and services the store provides.
The business has reached a wide field of customers through tourism, pow
wow's, EBay, and local communities. The Leather Factory store supplies many
schools from other communities with their craft and leather supplies. My
crafts and custom native clothing are seen all over the Maritimes at the pow
wow's and many items are all over the world bought by tourists who return year
after year.

store" . These comments are heard time and time again from wonderful
customers who without them I would not still be in business.
The business employs myself Barbara, my husband Joey, my brother Boots, my
nephew Eric & Mathieu, my cousin Michelle, and our friendly computer technicians.
